As a member of ProdSports MoComm will look after you with a great discount on their superior racing radios - many of you already have them and from all the feedback are extremely pleased with your purchases!! Thank you Gerry and Brett we hope MoComm benefits from PSCRAA cars carrying your logo...

On behalf of all the members and Committee a very special thanks to TravelPlan Ski Holidays and Chris Stannard for their sponsorship support of this series for so many years - it has been very much appreciated.

Notice of Annual General Meeting

Attached below is the notice of PSCRAA's Annual General Meeting to be held at Eastern Creek Raceway on Saturday 13th March which is the first round of the NSW CAMS State Championship. The meeting will not start before 3pm - I have asked ARDC if they will accommodate us by having our first race on Saturday early in the afternoon - fingers crossed! If there is any change in time I will advise.

After representing the Club on the Committee for the past 7 or so years and as Vice President and President for the past 4 years I feel it is time for a change. I have resigned my position as President and as a member of the Committee and will not be standing again this year for election. It has been a fantastic journey and one I have truly enjoyed. Thank you all for your friendship and tremendous support over the years.

I urge you all as members of PSCRAA to support your Club and to attend this meeting and be part of nominating and electing your new committee and President. We have a fabulous association and the envy of most other categories - we must keep this going.

If there are any questions you may have please ask...
Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible at our AGM.

Cheers - Val.
Don't forget to get your entries in for Round 1

Track Day Wakefield Park Tuesday 2nd February

After spending time at the circuit instructing in various roles, Barton has decided to host his own track day at Wakefield Park on Tuesday 2nd February. The day is aimed at high performance road cars and track prepared cars. Drivers of all levels will be catered for. There will be an open pit lane all day except lunchtime allowing plenty of premium track time.

As an exciting incentive, Barton will be selecting a lucky entrant out of a hat in the morning to drive 5 laps in his Porsche 996 Cup Car with Barton instructing. This will certainly get someone's heart pumping! The options for the day are:

  • Circuit use $375 + GST/car
  • Circuit use including access to driver instructors. These will include high calibre instructors such as international Porsche racer Barton Mawer and 2009 Australian GT champion David Wall. We aim for quality attention for drivers so a maximum of 4 drivers/instructor will be organised at a total cost of $500 + GST/car
  • We welcome an additional driver at $250 + GST or with instructor $375 + GST Each driver needs their own helmet. These can be hired at the circuit. Clothing must cover neck to wrist to ankle. Covered shoes must be worn. CAMS S2 licence and up are accepted, as are Wakefield Park licences, which can be purchased on the day at the circuit($50).

There are limited positions available so to ensure maximum track time complete the attached form and email to bart@bartonmawer.com

We will also be offering "Hot Laps" in the Porsche 996 Cup Car at lunch time. This is a rare opportunity to see the techniques of a professional in a dedicated race car. Each person will receive an out lap, a flying lap and an in lap. Cost is $495 + GST/head so book in quickly if you want to secure a spot.

The cafe will be open for refreshments and lunch at drivers own expense.
